Originating all the way from Malatya in Turkey, the vibrancy of these apricots reflects the vast Anatolian Mountains & the Euphrates River by which they are fed. What sets them apart from our locally grown dried apricots lies in the drying process – Turkish Apricots are dried whole rather than being halved prior to drying, savouring every last bit of their soft, juicy texture. Turkish Apricots are, to this day, mostly grown then sun-dried & distributed by small-scale, family-run, traditional orchards.
